The aim of an appointment with Dr Theodorides:


• Be caring, compassionate and respectful to all patients

• Take a careful history and examination in order to aid use of appropriate and carefully selected investigations to help determine the correct diagnosis whilst minimising cost and disruption to the patient

• Take as long as is needed to ensure clear communication and understanding for both patient and doctor

• Explain investigation findings in a simple manner to the patient

• Explain and provide the best possible evidence based conservative and surgical options for the patient

• To show the patient various exercises that could help with injury prevention, alleviation of pain, improvement in overall physical health and in postoperative rehabilitation

• Provide an evidenced based approach to treatment and ensure treatments offered are tailor made for each patient

• Discuss the multitude of conservative measures that could help reduce pain, reduce rate of progression of a condition or minimise risk of a sports injury

• The patient will be able to make their own informed decisions about their care once they have all necessary information explained to them 


• To never present surgery as the only option if there are other alternatives that can be tried first

• If surgery is chosen, to provide the best possible surgical techniques that have been shown to provide the best and most reliable outcomes

• The surgical plan will be explained in simple terms as well as the risks and benefits of surgery

• To be available to review any previous patient and address their queries or concerns

• Patients are advised to bring with them copies of any previous investigations, medical reports and correspondence and a list of their medications
